Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, a U.S. Congress member representing Florida's 25th district since 2005, recently shared her thoughts and activities through a series of tweets on January 26, 2025.

In her first tweet of the day, Wasserman Schultz advised individuals on their rights when detained by law enforcement or immigration officers. She encouraged people to visit her website for resources, stating: "If you or a loved one is detained by a police officer or ICE agent, know your rights." This tweet was posted at 14:45 UTC.

Later in the day at 17:30 UTC, she commented on former President Trump's actions regarding foreign assistance. She expressed concern over national security implications and criticized the decision as beneficial to hostile entities. She wrote: "Trump’s illegal move to freeze foreign assistance is a gift to our adversaries at the expense of U.S. national security."

In another post made at 21:06 UTC, Wasserman Schultz described participating in an event with her synagogue, Temple Beth Emet. The event focused on community service and empathy, during which she chose to make dog treats for donation to the Humane Society of Broward County. Her enthusiasm for animal welfare was evident in her message: "So glad to join my synagogue, Temple Beth Emet, for their annual Mitzvah Day!"
