Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, who represents Florida's 25th district in the U.S. Congress, shared several tweets on February 14, 2025. Her posts highlighted a mix of community engagement, commentary on national issues, and advocacy for legislative reform.

On Valentine's Day, Wasserman Schultz expressed her appreciation for veterans in South Florida by visiting the Miami Veterans Affairs Medical Center. She delivered valentines crafted by local elementary students as a gesture of gratitude to veterans. "South Florida veterans – we love you! Happy Valentine’s Day!" she wrote in her tweet.

Later that day, she addressed a significant development within the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. The department had reportedly dismissed over 1,000 employees, prompting Wasserman Schultz to release an official statement regarding the situation. "My statement on the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs confirming it dismissed more than 1,000 employees," she posted.

Wasserman Schultz also commemorated the anniversary of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting with a call for legislative action against gun violence. Reflecting on the tragedy that claimed 17 lives seven years prior, she acknowledged survivors' efforts to push for change and advocated for Jaime's Law to address ammunition loopholes. "Seven years ago a mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School stole 17 lives from us," she noted.
