Wasserman Schultz discusses legislative progress and leadership roles

Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Florida’s 25th district since 2005, shared several updates on her legislative and leadership activities via social media.

On December 9, 2024, she expressed pride over her bill aimed at studying the integration of the Weitzman Museum into the Smithsonian Institution reaching the President's desk. She stated that this initiative "would help reject harmful prejudices by educating people about the many contributions of Jewish Americans." The tweet can be accessed here.

In another post dated December 10, 2024, Rep. Wasserman Schultz announced her reappointment as Steering & Policy Committee Co-Chair in the upcoming 119th Congress.
