CITY OF MIRAMAR: Due to the long-lasting effects of Hurricane Dorian (2019), a vast majority of the Bahamian family islands lack much-needed resources to operate at a normal level.

City Of Miramar issued the following announcement on Feb. 21.

Due to the long-lasting effects of Hurricane Dorian (2019), a vast majority of the Bahamian family islands lack much-needed resources to operate at a normal level. Specifically, the Royal Bahamian Police Force is in need of vehicles to sustain its daily operations.

This morning, the City of Miramar is helping to fulfill those needs by donating 4 surplus vehicles that would normally be sold for parts or scrapped to the Royal Bahamian Police Force.

Our Elected Officials handed over the keys to Mr. Curt G Hollingsworth - Bahamas Consulate General, Honorable Wayne R. Munroe - Minister of National Security, Joe Davis - Lincoln Aviation of the Bahamas and Mr Clayton Fernander - Commissioner of Police, RBPF
