CITY OF DANIA BEACH: EXPECT TRAFFIC DELAYS FROM THE BEACH ON JULY 4TH

City Of Dania Beach recently issued the following announcement.

EXPECT TRAFFIC DELAYS FROM THE BEACH ON JULY 4TH

During the 2022, July 4th Event, the City of Hollywood Sheridan Street Bridge will be under construction and will remain in the open position for several weeks while repairs are made. 

For the 4th of July Event, 

8:00 pm – Bridges Locked Down

8:30 pm – Traffic Redirection Begins at Dania Beach *

9:00 pm – Hollywood Fireworks Show begins

9:30 pm – Hollywood Fireworks show ends

* Traffic Redirection at Dania Beach Blvd from TNT Fireworks, 768 E Dania Beach Blvd,  begins at 8:30 p.m. 

Due to construction at the Sheridan Street bridge, traffic after the 4th of July fireworks will be directed to Dania Beach Blvd. This is expected to create heavy traffic delays exiting the beach after the fireworks show. All traffic from Connecticut Street will exit on Dania Beach Blvd. All traffic from Garfield Street will be diverted to Hallandale Beach Blvd. Northbound Traffic Only on both lanes of A1A North of Sheridan Street.
