Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, currently serving as a U.S. Congresswoman representing Florida's 25th district, has consistently used her platform to address her political beliefs and societal concerns on Twitter. Originating from Queens, New York, and now residing in Weston, Wasserman Schultz, a long-standing member of the U.S. Congress since 2005, recently made a series of statements on various subjects.

On April 1, 2025, Wasserman Schultz praised her colleague Senator Booker for making one of the longest speeches in the Senate to challenge what she perceives as an "anti-American, pro-billionaire agenda" pursued by former President Trump. She stated, "In protesting Trump’s anti-American, pro-billionaire agenda, my friend @SenBooker dethroned an anti-civil rights Senator for the longest speech in the Senate. Democrats will keep up the fight! Bravo ".

The following day, on April 2, 2025, she condemned the actions of certain political factions, equating them to fascism while discussing the handling of due process. Wasserman Schultz remarked, "To rip families apart and disappear people without evidence or due process isn’t democracy - it’s fascism. Republicans can’t pretend suspending the rule of law makes us safer."

Later on April 2, she shared a personal anecdote related to gender norms in politics and underscored the support needed for working parents. As she relayed, "When I first ran for Congress, my opponent said I could be a mom or serve my community, but not both. I proved them wrong. Now, Speaker Johnson made the same anti-family claim. America is stronger when we support working parents - Democrats always will."
