We are still in Egyptian mode. Through art our students not only learn how to be creative, but at the same time they learn and study the history of the Egyptian past. This week we focus on Ancient Egyptian art, sarcophagi, and hieroglyphics. Students learn about the entire empire dedicated to ancient Egypt. Yesterday, they were making a Sarcophagus or pots from Air Dry Clay.
