Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, a U.S. Congress member representing Florida’s 25th district since 2005, recently shared her views on social media regarding various issues and events. She succeeded Peter Deutsch in this role and has been an active political figure, having served in both the Florida Senate and House of Representatives prior to her current position.

On March 20, 2025, Wasserman Schultz expressed concerns over policies she attributes to former President Donald Trump and entrepreneur Elon Musk, which she claims threaten Social Security benefits. "Trump and Musk want to steal your hard-earned Social Security benefits," she stated. She criticized the closure of offices, reduction of phone lines, and implementation of new verification barriers that she believes create additional obstacles for seniors attempting to maintain their earned benefits. Wasserman Schultz assured her followers that Democrats would oppose these measures vigorously.

In a lighter tone on March 21, 2025, Wasserman Schultz declared her support for the Florida State University women's basketball team during March Madness despite being a fan of the University of Florida Gators. "I’m a massive @FloridaGators fan," she admitted but announced her prediction that @fsuwbb would win it all.

Later on March 21, 2025, Wasserman Schultz emphasized the importance of international cooperation in environmental initiatives. She described such partnerships as investments in sustainability: "Investing in this partnership is an investment in a cleaner, more resilient future for both nations."
