Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Florida’s 25th district, recently expressed her condolences and concerns over several issues through a series of tweets. Her posts reflect on personal loss, international demands, and local healthcare advancements.

On December 2, 2024, Rep. Wasserman Schultz tweeted her sorrow regarding the death of Omer Neutra, an American citizen. She wrote, "I’m devastated by the death of Omer Neutra, an American citizen." The tweet further expressed her sympathy for Neutra's parents: "My heart breaks for his parents, Orna and Ronen, whom I have gotten to know during this horrific crisis and who have lived with unimaginable pain for 14 months."

In a subsequent tweet on the same day, she addressed the actions needed from Hamas concerning hostages and deceased individuals. She stated firmly that "Hamas must return the deceased to their loved ones and release the remaining hostages NOW." She emphasized this message with the hashtag #BringThemHome.

Later that day, Rep. Wasserman Schultz shared her experience visiting a healthcare facility in Davie. Her tweet read: "Great tour of the fantastic @hcaflhealthcare in Davie today with CEO Madeline Nava." She expressed enthusiasm about its growth potential and commitment to providing quality care: "So excited to see it continue to grow and give quality care to even more South Florida families."
