The City of Fort Lauderdale and FG Construction (FGC) will be cleaning the stormwater management system in the Sailboat Bend neighborhood. Through this project, crews will inspect and clean the system to ensure that it functions optimally, reducing the risk of flooding.
This project will begin on Monday, February 26, 2024, and is expected to be completed in May 2024. Work will take place Monday through Friday between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. This schedule is subject to change based on inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances. A link will be added to this page soon to view a project dashboard and monitor the project's progress.
Traffic Impacts
- Limited lane closures are expected as the contractor will be working primarily within the shoulder of all neighborhood streets.
- Access to driveways will be maintained.
- Please follow posted signs and drive with caution in the area.
