COOPER CITY: During this week's City Commission meeting, Commissioner Lisa Mallozzi highlighted "Max," a Boxer/American Staffordshire Terrier, who is looking for a "fur-ever" home

Dogs

Cooper City issued the following announcement on Dec. 02.

During this week's City Commission meeting, Commissioner Lisa Mallozzi highlighted "Max," a Boxer/American Staffordshire Terrier, who is looking for a "fur-ever" home. Commissioner Mallozzi will be bringing attention to pets being offered for adoption, while under the care of the Humane Society of Broward County.

We have included "before" and "after" pictures of Max, who recently underwent a special procedure to treat cataracts. He is 6-years-old and described as affectionate with people of all ages, potty-trained, and able to understand a few basic commands. His previous owner had to give him up due to a landlord not allowing dogs of Max's size. Thanks to a generous donation, Max's adoption fee has been underwritten meaning there is no cost to bring him home.
