City Of Hollywood issued the following announcement on Mar. 28.

Food Waste Prevention Week

April 4-9

During Food Waste Prevention Week, April 4-9, join us by participating in any number of activities that raise awareness and inspire everyone to reduce food waste at home, work and in our communities. Activities include a social media bingo game for a chance to win great prizes, K-12 student engagement contests, invention marathons, presentations with special guests including celebrated local chefs, and the Save the Food Fest event at Snyder Park in Fort Lauderdale on Saturday, April 9th.

The City of Hollywood is joining various agencies and stakeholders throughout Broward County in a collaborative effort and shared commitment to reduce food loss and waste. Download your Bad Apple BINGO card today then get ready to play starting Monday, April 4th right here on the City's Facebook page.
