City Of Dania Beach issued the following announcement on Feb 02.
SEA IT - DANIA ON THE RISE CIP PROJECT - This project proposes to widen SW 40th Avenue to add 5 feet bike lane and install a sidewalk in both directions from Stirling Road to Griffin Road.
In addition, the project will realign SW 40th Avenue from SW 49th Court to Griffin Road to accommodate for a wider turning radius at the SW corner of SW 40th Avenue and Griffin Road.
The improvements also consist of an additional left turn and an exclusive right-turn lane in the NB approach of the SW 40th Ave. & Griffin Road intersection. The estimated construction cost is $3.7M and is projected to be completed in December 2022.
