On Thursday, March 13, former West Broward High School standout Derek Bermudez’s current college team, the FIU Golden Panthers, won 22-6 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Bucknell Bison.
The game took place at FIU Baseball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Bison this season.
The Golden Panthers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 14 at 6:30 p.m. at FIU Baseball Stadium against Bucknell Bison.
