Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, a long-serving member of the U.S. Congress representing Florida's 25th district, has recently taken to social media to discuss legislative efforts and issues affecting veterans. Her recent tweets highlight her ongoing work in Congress and collaborations with fellow lawmakers.

On February 12, 2025, Rep. Wasserman Schultz announced the introduction of the PROTECT Our Children Act alongside several colleagues including Sen. Richard Blumenthal and Rep. Jared Moskowitz. She stated: "Our lives are more online than ever, and criminals who prey on children know it." The act aims to combat online predators and enhance internet safety for children.

The following day, she shared a link via Twitter without additional commentary: "https://t.co/cmWvt8llG3".

Later that day, she expressed concerns about former President Donald Trump's actions affecting veteran care: "Trump's reckless government attacks make it much harder to care for our veterans." She detailed her efforts with the American Federation of Government Employees National Veterans Affairs Council (AFGE NVAC) to safeguard veterans' healthcare as the lead Democrat on the Appropriations Subcommittee on Military Construction and Veterans Affairs.
