A heads up to commuters, residents, and visitors as there will be traffic impacts on the barrier island on Monday, February 26, from 6 a.m. to noon.

During this time, northbound A1A will be fully closed between Las Olas Boulevard and Bayshore Drive. Seabreeze Boulevard will be converted to one lane in each direction to accommodate traffic flow. A helpful map can be found below. 

In addition to these closures, the following roads will be fully closed between A1A and Seabreeze Boulevard:

• Poinsettia Street
• Cortez Street
• Castillo Street
• Sebastian Street

These closures are necessary to facilitate a film shoot. As a result, a higher-than-normal level of activity is expected in the area. However, production activities will not hinder access to any property. The Fort Lauderdale Police Department (FLPD) will be onsite to assist with traffic management and ensure a smooth flow of vehicles.
