City Of Dania Beach issued the following announcement on Feb. 07.
The Dania Beach Pier Renovation Project is almost done and our pier looks amazing! The $2 Million CIP Project has progressed considerably. The decking and performing structural renovations to the 1,000-foot Fishing Pier have been improved, which includes replacing all the deck boards, repairing concrete components, and restoring support materials for expansion joints throughout the pier.
The north and south boards are now complete, and the center of the pier is currently underway. We thank all our avid fishermen and pier visitors for their patience and understanding during this process.
