City Of Dania Beach issued the following announcement on Sep. 17.
SW 40th Ave Temporary Lane Closure from Sept. 20 to 24
The 1.1-mile Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Mobility Project proposes to widen SW 40th Avenue to add 5 feet bike lanes and install sidewalks in both directions from Stirling Road to Griffin Road.
The improvements also consist of an additional left turn and an exclusive right-turn lane in the northbound approach of SW 40th Ave. and Griffin Road intersection.
The full road closure will be from September 20th to September 24th between 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM
This work will not restrict access to parking, residential / commercial lots, businesses, homes and/or driveways.
