On Saturday, May 3, former City-Pembroke Pines Charter High School standout Alanah Velazquez’s current college team, the Northern Illinois Huskies, lost 6-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Toledo Rockets.

The game took place at Scott Park Baseball Softball. This was their first matchup against the Rockets this season.

The Huskies’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, May 3 at 4:15 p.m. at Scott Park Baseball Softball against Toledo Rockets.
