Debbie Wasserman Schultz has been serving as a U.S. Congresswoman, representing Florida’s 25th District since 2005, succeeding Peter Deutsch. On the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, she shared several updates and acknowledgments reflecting her engagements and support within her community and beyond.

On April 27, 2025, Wasserman Schultz celebrated Pastor Manuel’s first pastoral anniversary at St. Ruth MBC in Dania Beach, highlighting his role as “a source of guidance, comfort, and unity” within the community over the past year.

On April 28, 2025, she extended her congratulations to Lina Song, winner of FL-25’s 2025 Congressional Art Competition. Song’s artwork, “Cheong-Gaeguli,” will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol for a year. Schultz also expressed gratitude to all the artists who participated in showcasing their talents.

Later that day, Wasserman Schultz expressed support for her friend Gerry Connolly, acknowledging his dedication as a community leader and his fight against cancer. She conveyed her admiration for his “leadership and loyalty to fighting for his people,” extending support to Connolly and his family during this challenging time.

Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s political career is extensive, with a history in the Florida Senate and House of Representatives, and a background in education from the University of Florida. Now 56 and residing in Weston, Florida, her long-standing service continues to impact her community.
