On Wednesday, March 5, former West Broward High School standout Michael Rodriguez’s current college team, the Bethune–Cookman Wildcats, lost 9-7 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Florida State Seminoles.

The game took place at Mike Martin Field at Dick Howser Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Seminoles this season.

The Wildcats’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 6:30 p.m. at Swanson Stadium against Florida Gulf Coast Eagles.
