On Wednesday, March 12, former Cooper City High School standout AJ Albano’s current college team, the Converse Valkyries, won 11-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Belmont Abbey Crusaders.

The game took place at Tyger River Park. This was their second matchup against the Crusaders this season.

The Valkyries’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 1 p.m. at Tyger River Park against North Greenville Crusaders.
