On Sunday, March 23, former Pembroke Pines Charter High School standout Jayme Villafane’s current college team, the Bethune–Cookman Wildcats, won 15-7 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Jackson State Tigers.

The game took place at Braddy Field. This was their third matchup against the Tigers this season.

The Wildcats’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 25 at 6 p.m. at FIU Baseball Stadium against FIU Golden Panthers.
