Lefab Manufacture, LLC in Hollywood was cited four times by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) during an inspection conducted on March 2, FDA data shows.
The inspection focused on these areas:

- Foodborne Biological Hazards
Per the FDA website, the company received the following citations:
- ‘You did not take a reasonable measure or precaution related to personnel practices.’
- ‘You did not clean and sanitize your utensils or equipment in a manner that protects against allergen cross-contact and contamination.’
- ‘You did not ensure that your cleaning compounds and sanitizing agents are safe and adequate under the conditions of use.’
- ‘You did not conduct operations under conditions and controls necessary to minimize the potential for growth or survival of microorganisms.’
The FDA conducts regular inspections at facilities nationwide to check if workplaces and products comply with laws and regulations designed to protect public health. Findings from these inspections are also made available to the public.
The FDA website says the agency primarily oversees the safety and quality of products like human and animal drugs, medical supplies, biological products and tobacco items.
