On Sunday, March 9, former West Broward High School standout Derek Bermudez’s current college team, the FIU Golden Panthers, lost 6-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Florida Atlantic Owls.
The game took place at FIU Baseball Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Owls this season.
The Golden Panthers’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 11 at 6 p.m. at FIU Baseball Stadium against Florida Gulf Coast Eagles.
