Debbie Wasserman Schultz, a U.S. Congresswoman representing Florida’s 25th district, has shared her views on various issues through recent tweets. Her statements touch on personal loss, immigration policy, and national security concerns.

On March 24, 2025, Wasserman Schultz expressed her grief over the passing of Mia Love, a fellow participant in the Congressional Women’s Softball Game. She described Love as “a smart, caring, wonderful person” and “a fierce competitor on and off the field.” The game aims to support young women battling cancer. “Our team exists to help young women fight and beat cancer and it is devastating that as a younger woman, Mia lost her”.

Later that day, she criticized former President Donald Trump for his immigration policies. Wasserman Schultz accused Trump of breaking promises regarding prioritizing criminals by stating: “More than half a million people who obeyed the law… will lose legal status.” She argued that these actions harm families and negatively impact the economy.

In another tweet posted on March 24, 2025, Wasserman Schultz addressed a significant security breach in the United States. She emphasized the need for accountability by declaring: “This [is] the stupidest security breach in American history. There need to be consequences.”
