Debbie Wasserman Schultz, a long-serving U.S. Congresswoman representing Florida’s 25th district, recently expressed her views on several issues through a series of tweets. These posts reflect her concerns about U.S. policies towards Cuba and healthcare in America.

On March 17, 2025, Wasserman Schultz questioned the Trump administration’s stance on Cuban affairs. She tweeted: “Radio and TV Martí have countered anti-American propaganda and promoted democracy in Cuba for decades. Why is Trump abandoning Cubans?” This tweet underscores her disapproval of the perceived abandonment of Cuban interests by former President Donald Trump.

The following day, March 18, 2025, she invited the public to join her on Instagram for a discussion with a frontline healthcare worker from SEIU about Medicaid’s importance to their community. She stated: “Join me and a frontline health care worker with SEIU today at 3PM on my instagram page, @RepDWS. We’ll be live to discuss how critical Medicaid is to our community.”

Later that day, Wasserman Schultz criticized former President Trump’s healthcare policies in another tweet: “Trump wants to steal health care working families who need it while his BFF Elon Musk stuffs taxpayer money into his own company’s pockets. We need just 3 House Republicans to join @HouseDemocrats to stop this Medicaid cruelty.” Her statement highlights her opposition to Trump’s approach and calls for bipartisan support against changes she deems harmful.
