Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, U.S. Congresswoman representing Florida’s 25th district, posted a series of updates on her official Twitter account on May 14, 2026. The posts highlighted the recent passage of her resolution to recognize Jewish American Heritage Month and addressed family reunification efforts related to internment camps.
In her first post on May 14, Wasserman Schultz stated, “Last night, the House passed my resolution to recognize Jewish American Heritage Month & honor the million-plus Jewish men & women who have defended our nation in the U.S. military. Teaching about Jewish American contributions is the best way to fight antisemitism. Happy #JAHM!”
Later that day, she shared an update regarding a family reunification case: “I’m thrilled that Justo is finally back with his family. His daughter Arianne has been on the front lines to get this cruel internment camp shut down. I’m so proud to have fighters in South Florida like Arianne. All families separated like hers should be reunited.” This message referenced ongoing advocacy against family separation at internment facilities.
