U.S. Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz, who serves Florida’s 25th district in Congress, addressed issues related to Venezuela and veterans during a series of posts on her social media account on January 20 and 21, 2026.
In a post dated January 20, Wasserman Schultz emphasized the importance of democratic values in U.S. policy toward Venezuela, stating, “We must make sure our priority in Venezuela is democracy, not profit.” On the same day, she highlighted her ongoing efforts to recognize veterans’ service by engaging with students at Colbert Elementary in Hollywood. She wrote, “Today I shared with Colbert Elementary students in Hollywood how veterans work so hard to keep us all safe. Every year, I help Broward students make valentines for our veterans so that they know just how much we appreciate their selfless service.”
On January 21, Wasserman Schultz posted “#HastaElFinal @MariaCorinaYA”, signaling continued support for democratic movements or figures associated with Venezuela.
