Debbie Wasserman Schultz, a U.S. Congress member representing Florida’s 25th district, has recently expressed her views on various political and community issues through social media. Her posts have touched upon topics ranging from legislative processes to community leadership.

On March 14, 2025, Wasserman Schultz tweeted about the collective stance of the Appropriations Democrats against a continuing resolution (CR) proposed by the Senate. She stated that “.@AppropsDems united to demand the Senate reject the partisan, harmful CR.” She further criticized the resolution for allegedly enabling prominent figures such as Trump and Musk, along with Republicans, to “unlawfully destroy agencies & programs all Americans count on.”

The following day, March 15, 2025, she addressed the nature of appropriations in another tweet. She asserted that “Appropriations are NOT ‘advice’ – it’s law.” In this post, she criticized what she perceives as a lack of responsibility among Republicans who she claims are yielding their elected duties to an “unelected billionaire.”

Later on March 15, Wasserman Schultz shared her experience attending an investiture ceremony for local religious leaders. She commended their service and dedication in her tweet: “The Pastors Tudmans’ leadership embodies service, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to uplifting others.” Expressing honor at being present at their investiture, she wished them well in their new chapter.
