U.S. Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz, who represents Florida’s 25th district in Congress, recently posted a series of tweets focusing on support for small businesses and concerns about healthcare policy. In her posts from November 29 and 30, 2025, Wasserman Schultz highlighted the importance of local entrepreneurship and criticized Republican-led changes to healthcare.
On November 29, Wasserman Schultz shared her views on the role of small businesses in communities: “Small Businesses personalize service to locals and give friends and neighbors a sense of community we sorely need. On #SmallBusinessSaturday and every day, I’ll always back local entrepreneurs.

Later that same day, she addressed the state of American healthcare policy through the perspective of a local business owner: “Felicia is a Broward County small business owner who tells it straight: America is going from Obamacare, to the Trump-does-not-care policy.
Democrats are working non-stop to end this Republican healthcare crisis. https://t.co/e2LnTYxG3E“.
On November 30, Wasserman Schultz drew an analogy between the stability of the U.S. healthcare system and a game of Jenga: “The healthcare crisis is like Jenga: if you pull out affordable coverage, the entire system crashes down.
That’s what Republicans are steering us toward. We must extend ACA tax credits NOW. https://t.co/1QpKEBXVzo“.
Wasserman Schultz has served in Congress since 2005 after replacing Peter Deutsch. She previously held positions in both chambers of Florida’s legislature before her election to Congress. Born in Queens, New York in 1966, she now resides in Weston and holds a BA from the University of Florida (source: official biography).
Her recent statements continue her longstanding focus on supporting local business owners as well as defending access to affordable healthcare for Floridians.
