U.S. Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz, who serves Florida’s 25th district, used her social media platform on February 3, 2026, to address several ongoing national issues and upcoming events.

In a post made early that morning, Wasserman Schultz commented on a recent court decision regarding the Trump Administration’s immigration policies. She wrote: “Another federal court just rejected the Trump Administration’s cruel attempt to revoke lawful status from more than 350,000 Haitians who legally sought refuge here. But this fight isn’t over. My full statement: https://t.co/ExZmmvLkYv” (February 3, 2026).

Later in the day, she announced an event scheduled for that evening with Nancy-Ann DeParle, former Deputy Chief of Staff for President Obama. The announcement stated: “TONIGHT AT 6PM: join me and Nancy-Ann DeParle, former Deputy Chief of Staff for President Obama, at a Town Hall to discuss the high costs America faces, the latest on ACA tax credits and recent DHS activity, including ICE and FEMA. RSVP: https://t.co/PppbphoySJ https://t.co/27O18pG93b” (February 3, 2026).

Wasserman Schultz also highlighted congressional oversight activities involving the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). She posted: “Today, @AppropsDems are hearing from the USDA Office of the Inspector General, and will publicly question them to hold the Trump Administration accountable. Watch live: https://t.co/jE6goTRPsq” (February 3, 2026).

Debbie Wasserman Schultz has represented Florida’s 25th district in Congress since replacing Peter Deutsch in 2005. Before her tenure in Congress began in January of that year, she served in both chambers of Florida’s state legislature—first as a member of the House of Representatives from 1992 to 2000 and then as a state senator until 2004. Born in Queens in 1966 and currently residing in Weston at age 56, she graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1988.
