On Friday, March 21, former City-Pembroke Pines Charter High School standout Alanah Velazquez’s current college team, the Northern Illinois Huskies, lost 5-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Miami RedHawks.

The game took place at Miami Softball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the RedHawks this season.

The Huskies’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at 1 p.m. at Miami Softball Stadium against Miami RedHawks.
